To my cousins Tom & Rod, & their families. Words cannot express how sad I am. Auntie Shirley was the BEST Aunt any one could ever have asked for. She was such a remarkable woman. I spoke to her last week and we both started to cry on the phone and I kept telling her how sad it was that she was going through this & and her answer was always that the good Lord will take care of her & that she had a great life and now she was ready to go and be with Uncle Vernal. Her prayers were answered and she is now at peace. She never forgot birthdays, would always call to say hi, and always told me she loved me. She spoke to my Dad on a daily basis and I know for sure he will miss his daily chats with her. Unfortunately, Phil & I will be unable to attend her service, but we will be thinking of all of you. We will love her forever.
