Pierina (Ferrucci) Ferrucci, 61, of Surrey Drive, North Haven, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Achille Ferrucci.  Born in Alvignanello, Province of Caserta, Italy on November 14, 1948; a daughter of Olympia Meole Ferrucci of Hamden and the late Armando Ferrucci.  Pierina had worked in the cafeteria for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for over 15 years until her retirement and after enjoyed taking care of her beloved granddaughter Isabella Rose.  Mother of Celeste (Anthony) Stellato of North Haven, Luisa Ferrucci and her fiancé Jarrett Dorough both of Middletown.  Grandmother of Isabella Rose Stellato.  Sister of Peter Ferrucci and Immaculata “Maggie” Ferrucci both of Hamden.

Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Saturday at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00.  Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.  The visiting hours will be Friday (TODAY) from 5 to 8 pm.
