Ellen Bellmore Starno, 83, of Centerbrook Road, Hamden, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at St. Raphael’s Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Andrew G. Starno.  Born in New Haven on November 1, 1926; daughter of the late Henry J. and Anna Keenan Bellmore.  Ellen had worked for the former Winchester Repeating Arms Co. for over 25 years retiring as a General Foreman; she was an avid reader; enjoyed knitting and many other crafts.  Mother of Andrea S. Hogan and her husband Michael of Northford.  Grandmother of Justin A. Hogan and his wife Susan of Northford.  Great-grandmother of Charles C., Kennedy M. and Jaylyn B. Hogan.  Sister of Louise Bruneau of Hamden and the late Margaret Keeley, Mary Brown, Anna Pentino, Gertrude Rogers, Lawrence, Paul and Henry Bellmore, Jr.
