 Louise A. (Coe) Bolan, 96, formerly of Hilltop Road, New Haven, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Webster Manor, Webster, MA. She was the wife of the late James E. Bolan. Mrs. Bolan was born in New Haven on September 5, 1913; a daughter of the late William and Mary (Carr) Coe. Louise was a member of the New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church for nearly 60 years. Prior to her retirement, Louise was employed at Yale University Dining Services. Mother of Mary I. Mulkern of Putnam, Edmund L. Bolan and wife Barbara of North Haven, Phyllis E. Manimbo of Berkeley Spings, WV and Phillip E. Bolan of New Haven. Sister of Robert W. Coe of L.I., N.Y. and the late Lillian (Smith) Kronberg and Edna Hande. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday at 12:30 pm in Hamden Plains Cemetery, Circular Ave., Hamden. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice, 67 Middle Street, Suite 503, Lowell, MA 01852. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with Mrs. Bolan’s arrangements. |
