Mildred W. Sherman, 84, of Sherman Terrace, North Haven passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Merrill G. Sherman. Born in New Haven on October 5, 1925; a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Kumza Schmagelskis. Mother of Merrill Sherman and Claudia Alexis Sherman both of North Haven. Predeceased by a brother, Algerd Schmagelskis and a sister, Bertha Morrisacato.
Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Friday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in Montowese Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 pm.
