Karen M. Burleigh Vitti, 65, of Rumberg Road, Cheshire passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the CT Hospice, Branford.  She was the wife of Frank Vitti.  Born in New Haven on December 29, 1944; daughter of the late Norman and Helen Slatery Burleigh.  Karen enjoyed dancing, traveling and especially her family.  Mother of Frank Vitti, Jr. of Cheshire, John E. (Robyn) Vitti of Branford, Dominic R. (Tracey Rodriguez) Vitti of East Haven and Corrine (John L.) MacNiven of Cheshire.  Nanny of Anthony Michael Vitti, Jessica Marie Vitti, Joshua Kyle MacNiven and Jake Tyler Vitti.  Predeceased by brothers Edward Norman Burleigh and Richard Burleigh.

Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Saturday at 10:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt.
