Anthony C. Rubano, Jr., 63, Mellor Road, Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Hospital of St. Raphael’s.  He was the husband of Beverly Uss Rubano.  Mr. Rubano was born in New Haven on February 10, 1947; a son of the late Anthony C. Rubano, Sr. and Alice Proto Rubano.  Anthony had worked for Federal Express for 30 years; he served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Vietnam War; was a member of the Wallingford Elks Lodge and volunteered for the Relay for Life.  Father of Kimberly (Glen) Irwin, Patricia Cyphers and Anthony C. (Jennifier) Rubano all of Wallingford.  Grandfather of Alycia Irwin, Tessa Cyphers, Alexa, Justin and Zacary Rubano.  Brother of Patricia (Paul) Ludington of North Haven and Antoinette LeClaire of North Branford.

His Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Monday at 10:30 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 11:00.  Interment with full military honors will follow in the All Saints Cemetery.  The visiting hours will be Sunday (TODAY) from 3 to 7 pm.
